TOP FIVE WORST MOMENTS & TOP FIVE BEST MOMENTS OF 2010 FOR THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS


I thought we would change things up this week and take a look at the top five worst moments of the season so far, as well as the top five best moments of the season for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Although I'm sure can all agree it may be a lot easier to make a the list of the bad things from this season, but their has been some hidden gems that i have noticed so far. We will begin at the fifth top moment and continue to the number one moment.

Top Five Best Moments:

5. Jonas Gustavssons stick save against Alex Semin of the Washington Capitals on Wednesday Nov.3rd

4. Phil Kessels game winning overtime goal against the New York Rangers on Friday Oct.15th

3. Crushing 5-1 win in round one of the battle of Ontario against the Ottawa Senators

2. Clarke MacArthurs explosive start to the season, scoring five goals in first four games

1. 4-0 start to the season

Top Five Worst moments:

5. Phil Kessel being shut down against the Boston Bruins, while Tyler Seguin scored a big goal for his second of the year on Thursday Oct.28th. (Seguin was selected by Boston with out pick we traded for Kessel)

4. Loss to Buffalo Sabres in Shootout on Saturday Nov.6th after giving up game tying goal with 24 seconds left in the third period.

3. Loss to Washington Capitals on Wednesday Nov.3rd after dramatic third period comeback by the Maple Leafs.

2. Being shutout two games in a row versus the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers on Oct.28th and Oct.30th.

1. The injury to captain Dion Phaneuf on November 2nd against the Ottawa Senators that will have him out of the line up for four to six weeks.


Well i hope you have enjoyed my top five worst moments and best moments of the year for the Toronto Maple Leafs, lets hope we can have more good moments than bad in the up coming weeks.
